Beautiful & Versatile

Floating Laminate flooring is one flooring option that you may consider, especially once you realise how powerfully beautiful and versatile this product is nowadays. Laminate flooring is an imitation timber floor. It is a popular choice for many, being easier to install and maintain than hardwood flooring. Once upon a time, laminate flooring looked cheap and plastic - like a poor imitation of a hardwood floor. However, Laminate flooring has come a long way since then!

Why Laminate Flooring?

Easy to install, floating floors of laminate have many good points in their favour and also some negative cons that should all be considered. The ease of installation with current types of laminate flooring is a huge bonus, with a three hundred square floor being able to be installed over a weekend, given the right commitment. Boasting strong, durable surfaces, laminate flooring has a wear layer that protects and makes the surface almost impervious to dents and scratches. It is a surface that is quite hard underfoot and although foam underlay can help diminish some of this hardness, it won’t remove it entirely. If your laminate floor becomes heavily worn or scratched over its lifetime, it will require replacing.

The beauty of laminate flooring is the versatility of style and design and durability, as it is protected against UV rays and less likely to fade when in direct sunlight. If you have a young, growing family, laminate flooring deserves your consideration due to its durability and low cost.

With the current “click and lock” floating assembly system it can be floated over pretty much any existing subfloor.
